2022 EPIC Program Recipient: Yellowknife Women’s Society – Street Outreach Program

Northland Utilities employees were proud to present the Yellowknife Women's Society with a cheque for $10,891.90, on behalf of the ATCO EPIC charitable giving program. The donation directly supported the Street Outreach Program, which helps Yellowknife’s street-involved population, providing basic needs and safe rides to various locations, including shelters, homes, and health service providers. 

The ATCO EPIC program is a grassroots initiative involving employee-led committees that plan events and auctions and gather employee pledges. In all, the program supports more than 800 charitable and non-profit organizations around the world. Since the inception of the EPIC program in 2006, total program contributions have reached almost $54 million, alongside 257,000 volunteer hours over the same time period.
